ABOUT THIS ROLE 

As a Direct Support Facilitator, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live more independent, confident, and fulfilling lives. In this position, you will provide hands-on support through skill building, job coaching, advocacy, and personalized care tailored to each individual’s goals.

You will serve as both a guide and a role model, helping individuals strengthen life and work skills, navigate daily challenges, and build meaningful connections within their community. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and passionate about making a real impact through person-centered support.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Minimum of 6 months experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Ability to pass background check, TB clearance, and health screenings
   

Skills and Experience:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience with documentation and progress notes

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compassionate, patient, and able to model positive behaviors
   

Additional Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 to 60 days of hire

• Willingness to travel locally for meetings, trainings, and client support

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
